Alex burst into the financial services industry in 2002 as a Credit Analyst with Balmain Commercial, Australia’s largest originator of commercial mortgages. Using her analytical and negotiating skills, Alex helped assess and structure property debt transactions on behalf of many prominent property investors and developers. In 2005 Alex joined Mirvac AQUA, a specialist manager of real estate debt owned jointly by the Mirvac Group and Balmain Commercial. As a Key Account Executive Alex was responsible for distributing three mortgage funds to the financial planning market nationally. Delighted by the opportunity to distribute a variety of boutique funds spanning the different asset classes, Alex joined BDM Direct in 2008. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of NSW, and has completed the first level of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
